• Browser session data: stored only in your browser (sessionStorage) — chat history, cart contents
• Server logs: IP addresses, request timestamps for security and abuse prevention

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics services on this site.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule and confirm appointments
• To process payments and fulfill orders
• To communicate about your build, order, or appointment
• To respond to questions sent via the website chat or contact form

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising or marketing without your consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with these services to operate the site and fulfill orders:

• Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe; we do not store them. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — sends order and booking confirmation emails. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Telegram — used internally to notify the shop owner of new bookings and orders. Only your name, contact info, and order details are sent. See Telegram's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers the website's chat assistant. Messages you send to the chat are processed by Anthropic to generate responses. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Hosting provider (Replit / Railway / etc.) — runs the website infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

Booking and order records are retained as long as needed for service delivery, warranty claims, and tax/accounting purposes (typically 7 years).

Chat conversations are stored only in your browser session and are not persisted on our servers after the session ends.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of email communications (reply with "unsubscribe")

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

This website and HD Garage's services are not directed to children under 13 years of age.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), HD Garage LLC does not knowingly collect, use, store, or disclose personal information from any child under the age of 13. We do not knowingly accept bookings, orders, communications, or any other personal data from anyone under 13.

HD Garage's services (automotive work and merchandise) are intended exclusively for adults 18 years of age or older. Bookings, orders, and account creation are restricted to users 18 or older. Users between 13 and 17 may browse the Site for informational purposes only.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us right away at dwarbeck@hdgaragellc.com. We will respond and remove the information promptly.
